The works towards modernization of a linear section of Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod cross-country pipeline at a division between 3851.3 and 3878.9 kilometers must be completed before August 2014 and will include construction of a new gasline division from Ilyintsi all the way to the line valve at the 3878.9th kilometer. Furthermore, the works will include the dismantlement of an overaged gasline division, construction of a new communication and teleautomatics division and restoration of fertility of soils at the construction locations.

Zangas-NGS has been successfully performing construction and fitting works at a variety of oil and gas facilities in Ukraine and other CIS countries. In 2011-2012, 39 facilities were constructed and overhauled while the total works budget exceeds UAH 1 billion.

In particular, a turn-key project of Armiansk-Jankoy gasline construction was completed involving a fiber-optical and teleautomatic system which not only enabled a rise in dependability of Crimean gas supply system but also afforded gas transportation from subsea fields of the peninsula to southern provinces of continental Ukraine thereby enhancing the nation’s energy security.
