Group DF’s titanium business sold assets of Ukrainian Chemical Products in the Crimea

PrJSC “Ukrainian Chemical Products”, previously known as “Crimean Titanium” (a major producer of titanium dioxide, Armyansk, the Crimea), sold all its assets in the Crimea to the Russian Titanium company (RF).

According to the terms and conditions of the agreement, all movable and immovable property of the former “Crimean Titanium” becomes the property of the buyer.

The deal is closed; Ukraine’s state registration authorities made the corresponding changes in the state registers.

For political reasons, this asset has lost its economic viability. Group DF had no control over this asset since 2016 and has been looking for the possibility to sell it.

In 2014, PrJSC “Crimean Titanium” (Ukraine) was redomiciled from Armyansk to Kyiv, and renamed into Ukrainian Chemical Products.

Ukrainian Chemical Products is a member of Group DF titanium line of business and is owned by Ostchem Germany GmbH (Hamburg, Germany).
