Yuriy Borisov is the CEO of OSTCHEM Holding AG and a member of the Board of Directors of Group DF. He commenced his career when he founded PET bottle manufacturer Inter-Service LLC in 1999. He joined the newly founded Tumen Oil Company, known as TNK-Ukraine, in 2001 as a Sales Manager. It was under the TNK aegis that he founded Nafta-Service Ukraine in 2002. As Commercial Director of the company, he oversaw the extensive process of modernizing Ukraine’s outdated petrol station network with new TNK equipment.

Between 2003 and 2004 he was Director of Swiss oil supplier Collide SA’s Kiev office, as it oversaw oil transport in Ukraine and through the port of Yuzhniy. He then moved on to manage ACI Trading Ltd in 2004, a Cyprus based exporter of Ukrainian and Estonian petrochemical products. His in-depth knowledge of the chemical products market dates back to his time as General Director of the company, when he undertook a thorough study of the subject and participated in a number of international conferences. He became CEO of OSTCHEM Holding AG in December 2005, the holding company for a range of chemicals companies including titanium, soda ash and mineral fertiliser businesses.

Yuriy holds a Masters Degree in International Relations from the National Chernovtsy University.
