Further Statement Regarding Theft of Emfesz

We refer to recent press articles referring to certain named individuals who are alleged to be behind the transfer in April of the shares of Hungarian natural-gas trader Emfesz Kft.

We wish to clarify and emphasise the point that Emfesz was in fact stolen by means of an unauthorised and fraudulent transfer of the shares held by our company Mabofi to a Swiss shell company called Rosgas.

As announced in our previous statement, dated 7 May 2009, we have initiated legal proceedings to recover the shares in Emfesz and for damages that have been caused as a result of the fraud.
