Statement Regarding Emfesz And Removal Of Mr Goczi From Board of Group DF Limited
This Statement is made further to the Statement issued Last week, on 7th May 2009, by Mabofi Holdings Limited. Mabofi, a Group DF company, is the 100% owner of Emfesz (a major gas distributor in Hungary).
Group DF wishes to confirm that it has now taken the necessary actions, and that a resolution has been executed removing Mr Istvan Goczi, the General Director of Emfesz, from the Board of Group DF.
This action follows the fraudulent transfer of the shares in Emfesz to Rosgas A.G. a Swiss company registered in Zug. Neither Group DF nor any of the senior management of the group (with the exception of Mr Goczi) had any knowledge of this transaction, and had given no approval whatsoever.
The Group will also be pursuing all legal rights to reverse the fraudulent purported transfer of the shares in Emfesz to Rosgas A.G. and to restore Emfesz to its rightful owners as soon as possible.
The circumstances behind the purported illegal transfer are being investigated and a further statement will be issued in due course.
